Order Your State Polo Here!

We are in one of the Grand Lodge Co-Headquarter Hotels and 16 other states will be joining us at the Marriott!  That’s 19 possible hospitality suites in one hotel!

This is a non-smoking hotel. Currently, they do not offer a shuttle service to or from the airport.

Room Rate (single or double occupancy) is: $124.00 + 16.9% tax + $5.00 Georgia State hotel fee = a total of $149.96 per night. Valet parking is available with a 25% discount, and will be approximately $45 /day

This year we are making things a little easier for everyone! Just like for our Spring Convention you can make your Grand Lodge room reservations on the IEA website (indianaelks.org). If you choose to, you can also download and print a paper form and send it in, but the website is very easy.

All Elks planning on attending are urged to send in their reservations as soon as possible as rooms will fill up quickly.

The cutoff date for hotel reservations is May 21, 2022. Reservations received after this date will be accepted based on availability.  Once the rooms are filled any overflow will be housed at another hotel chosen by the grand lodge convention department.

The average room will have a coffee maker and a safe. Most have a mini refrigerators. The hotel has a marketplace for grab and go items as well as 2 restaurants which are open for lunch and dinner. There are several restaurants and a food court within walking distance. Centennial Park, the Atlanta Aquarium and Coca-Cola World are all within walking distance. The hotel has a fitness center onsite and an indoor/outdoor pool.

Indiana will again have a fantastic Hospitality Suite. The hours for the hospitality room have yet to be determined at this time. Updates will be posted on the IEA website. We are again asking for a $25 donation per person to assist with the expense of the Hospitality Suite which you pay on indianaelks.org when you register for your hotel rooms.

Each Exalted Ruler or Alternate is asked to assist in bartending duties sometime in the hospitality room. Your District Deputy will be assigning you a time to help in the room. Last year, this worked very well, and many ERs find it was fun. We will also have greeters at the door to welcome people to the Indiana hospitality room. We are again having 2 districts host the suite each day by supplying food and workers for the day.  Sunday July 3rd will be hosted by the Northwest and West Central Districts, Monday July 4th will be hosted by the Southeast and Southwest Districts, and Tuesday July 5th will be hosted by the Northeast and East central Districts.  Theme days for the suite are being planned.

Because Elks from other states usually visit our hospitality room, we are asking all Indiana Elks to please wear your registration badges when visiting the hospitality room. Some of the other states require you to wear your registration badge to enter their hospitality room.

The Atlanta Convention will have an exhibition hall! The hours will be Saturday July 2nd, 8am – 4:30pm, Sunday July 3rd 8am – 4pm, Monday July 4th, 7:30am- 4pm, and Tuesday July 5th 7:30am – 2pm.

Pre-registration Opens the beginning of April on the Elks.org website. The procedure for badge/credentials pick-up has gone back to pre-Covid operations. Attendees will pick up credentials at the convention center.  Again, Grand Lodge is asking that everyone pre-register for the convention and to also make event reservations.

Seminars are being encouraged and they were very well attended in Tampa. Event reservations will be available in early May and are requested of attendees, but there will be No Space Limitations. So, the seminars will not be sold out. The reservation numbers will be used to aid in future planning.

The Sunday afternoon Opening Ceremony, Daily Business Sessions, and the Closing session will take place at the Georgia World Congress Center – Building C, Hall C2, 285 Andrew Young International Blvd. NW, Atlanta, GA 30313. The Opening Ceremonies (open to all members and guests) will take place on Sunday afternoon, July 3 from 4pm to 6pm. The Daily Business Sessions will be held Monday and Tuesday from 8:00 am till 12 noon (estimated end time). Wednesday will run from 8:00 am till 11:00 am. The Seminar for District Deputies Designates will be held on Monday, July 4, and Tuesday, July 5, both at 12:45 pm. Location to be determined.

A shuttle service will be provided to all Grand lodge functions.  (Watch the website for a shuttle schedule by the middle of June)

Be sure to register for all events you plan to attend.

The Elks National Convention Commission is working closely with the Georgia World Congress Center and Discover Atlanta to plan for a safe and healthy Elks National Convention. Safety measures and plans are evolving, but are likely to include social distancing, and personal mask use, which is currently required in the city of Atlanta, but not as a statewide mandate.

As time draws closer to the Grand Lodge Convention, members should log into the Grand Lodge website and check the Grand Lodge Convention Section as updates and information will be posted by the Grand Lodge.

To help cover the cost of the hospitality room, a registration fee of $25 per person attending is necessary. This fee is not included in your convention registration through Grand Lodge and all monies will go directly to the Indiana Elks Association, Inc. for hospitality room expenditures. It’s a small amount to pay for all-you-can-eat and drink during the convention. If you remember last year, we won an award for our hospitality room! Let’s keep it up Indiana!

Click on the Buy Now button to pay your Hospitality Registration Fee. You will have the option to pay with your credit card or with a check or savings account (bank account option). Please note that when you provide a checking or savings account number as payment, you authorize us to use information from your account to make a one-time electronic fund transfer from that account. Funds may be withdrawn from your account as soon as the same day you make your payment.

Hotel reservations can be made through a direct link to the hotel and a credit card will be needed to secure a reservation.  This link will appear on the Thank You page after you pay your hospitality room registration fee. In the event you will not be utilizing our hospitality room or do not see the direct link, please email me webmaster@indianaelks.org and I will get that information to you.  Please do not go to the general hotel site and book your room, you will not receive the Elks rate.
